I'm still glowing from that day - you were all so brave and beautiful! It was wonderful to see you all admitting to your true heart's desires and declaring the Stand and Powerspectives that will take you there.
You all were so inspiring that I'm going to sit down with my ReCHARGE Workbook tomorrow and do it myself! (Stay tuned for Sam's Powerspectives!)

TEN WAYS TO CROSS THE LINE!
notes from a grateful ReCharger
On Saturday, January 26, 2008, we gave new meaning to the phrase, "Crossing The Line." I was so energized by walking over the simple line of tape on the carpet at the end of our ReCharge day. I was deeply inspired watching you do the same. Repurposing language to use for our inner good, no longer for self-flaggelation, is the lasting lesson I'm learning.
Every day since the workshop, I have been having a blast with my Powerspective Cards, which I have (of course) re-named: Fabulous.NOW cards. Here are 10 tips I am putting into practice with the cards and would like to share with you and the ReCharge/EK community:
1.
Remember in 7th grade, when we wrote on our hands, jeans and those of our friends? Can you imagine a time when you were more open to suggestion and your own mind chatter. Think about those doodles which gave us inspiration all day long and into the argument with our mother where we adamantly denied being a vandal:). What if we tapped into that immense (albeit hormonal) energy and used the TACTILE reprogramming technique now. WRITE ONE TWO THREE OF YOUR POWERSPECTIVES ON YOUR HAND EVERY MORNING. Today, I am trying my Fabulous.NOW saying: "Wow! I am gorgeous!" on my right hand (which was really fun writing since I'm right-handed. . .more on left-hand writing exercises with Sam Bennett in her upcoming workshop: GET IT DONE. 2.
I set the stage for my fabulousness by taking one or two breaths and asking a Sam question before flipping my cards: "In this Universe, is it possible and reasonable to believe. . ." I make this question the first card I read.
3.
In addition to ordering Amy and Melissa's customized recordings of your Powerspectives, go one further! Leave yourself a loving voicemail with the 5-9 Powerspectives (or FabulousNOW statements) that are really rocking your boat this morning/day/evening. Go wild, leave the messages on your work, cell and home phone. Who knows, maybe someone else in your life will get a yummy jolt of neural reprogramming by hearing it!? At the very least, anyone overhearing your message (go ahead, listen to them at work on SPEAKER), will also know that those stands, powerspectives and visualizations ARE YOU and they will add their energy to your safety deposit boxes of greatness. The 5 I'm trying out today are:
"I share my accomplishments often and proudly"
"I say YES to the ocean"
"I separate myself easily from work"
"I am irresistable"
"I have lots of free time"
4.
Take the VisionBoard concept and apply it to your cards. Put drawings, images, magazine cutouts, downloads, symbols, glitter, color swatches--whatever symbolizes or represents the particular Powerspective, on the reverse side of the card. HAVE FUN WITH IT. My "All of my entrepreneurial ventures are effortlessly created and provide elegantly utilitarian tools for the masses" FabulousNOW card has a remainder section of some hummingbird stamps I bought recently. It shows a hummingbird, some flowers and a bee with the word POLLINATION in script above it. It reminds me that I am the ultimate pollinator and the effects of me spreading the treasures of my clients (flowers), affects not only them, but every place I deliver their gifts.
5.
While you are celebrating your Fabulousness, get a loving case or container for your cards. Consider hanging them from their ring on your front door, above your desk, put them in a prominent place in your car or on the built-in keyring in your bag. Keep them close, classy and cared for so they can do the same for you:) This is a great example of one of my FabulousNOW statements, "I help myself MORE than I help others."
6.
shuffle your cards weekly or regularly: randomness might prevent an autopiloting. Fabulousness will not be mundane!
7.
write your KEY QUESTIONS on the last card you look at (so, if you are using the shuffle technique, be conscious of whether you want to start and end your practice with any card in particular, Key Questions, Sam's Universe of Possibilities question, or one of your own choosing).
8.
set rewards for yourself for remapping your brain! What are some NEW treats--perhaps ones you haven't given to yourself before? Add treasures to your subconscious' safe deposit boxes. Mine would look like this: making new piece of art, some gorgeous stationery, fresh nail polish. . .what makes you feel well-treated and rewarded for a job well done?
9.
consider writing on the bottom of each card in small letters the ReCharge question(not sure who proposed it): "How is this statement true already?" Even if you don't read this question aloud with each flip of a card, TRUST ME, your subconscious will read it and know the answer.
10. PUT YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS TO WORK! Submit new ideas for using the cards on this post or by emailing the EK crew. Get in touch and stay in motion!
